Venison Steak Quesadillas
Cooked steak (recommend a tender cut)
Shredded Mozzarella & Cheddar cheese, or your favorite blend (Lactose & Gluten free shown in pic)
Soft tortillas ( large mission GF soft tortillas used)
Salt & Pepper to taste
Parsley & Sour cream for garnish
Slice cooked steak into 1 inch strips against the grain
Heat up a large fry pan with some non stick olive oil spray
Place one tortilla on the fry pan, distribute evenly the sliced steak and cheeses around entire tortilla.
Place second tortilla on top of the filled tortilla. Use a large pot to press down on the tortilla to ensure cheese melts and acts as the binder or glue.
Using a flat plate, place plat on top of the tortilla and flip pan upside down so cooked side of tortilla is no facing up on the plate.
Slide entire tortilla back into the pan cooking the opposite side of tortilla.
Remove from pan, let cool and slice into wedges.
Garnish with parsley and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
